The TTL232R 3V3 is a USB to serial UART converter cable incorporating the FT232RQ USB to serial UART interface IC. The TTL232R 3V3 is FTDI's premium USB to serial UART cable for 3.3V boards such as the VITA 49 RFSoC. It features a 6-wire, 1.8m cable with a USB type A connector and a 6-pin SIL black housing connector. The TTL-232R USB to serial converter is ideal for a range of applications where TTL or 3.3V signaling is required, from adding support for legacy RS232 devices to the design and development of microprocessors and microcontrollers. The cable provides a fast and simple method to connect devices with a TTL level serial interface to USB. The TTL-232R cable is a family of USB to TTL serial UART converter cables incorporating FT232RQ USB to serial UART interface IC device which handles all the USB signalling and protocols.
