Introducing the HMC462, a high performance monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) amplifier from Analog Devices. This GaAs pHEMT MMIC amplifier operates from DC to 14 GHz and provides high gain, high linearity, and low noise figure across the entire frequency range. It is ideally suited for a wide range of applications including cellular infrastructure, microwave radio, and test and measurement equipment. The HMC462 offers a gain of 14 dB and a noise figure as low as 2.2 dB, making it a versatile solution for demanding RF and microwave systems. With a high third-order intercept point (IP3) and a wide dynamic range, this MMIC amplifier delivers exceptional performance in the presence of strong input signals. Packaged in a compact, 3x3 mm QFN, the HMC462 is easy to integrate into space-constrained designs. It operates from a single positive supply voltage and requires minimal external components for easy implementation.
