The ATmega32U4 is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit microcontroller based on the AVR® enhanced RISC architecture. It is part of the ATmega series, which offers a range of advanced features and powerful performance for various embedded applications. With its 32KB of in-system programmable Flash memory and 2.5KB of SRAM, the ATmega32U4 provides ample storage for application code and data. It also features 1KB of EEPROM, allowing for non-volatile data storage. One of the key highlights of the ATmega32U4 is its built-in USB 2.0 Full Speed interface, which enables seamless connectivity with other USB devices. This makes it ideal for applications such as USB peripherals, keyboards, mice, and more. Furthermore, the microcontroller offers up to 26 general-purpose I/O pins, multiple communication interfaces (including SPI, I2C, and USART), and a comprehensive set of timers and counters.
