The 74HC4051 is an 8-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer integrated circuit designed for use in various analog and digital applications. It features three binary control inputs (A, B, and C) which enable the selection of one of the eight channels to be connected to the common X or Y output. The channels can also be configured as a single control input for demultiplexing applications.
